Important BMS Recital Week Update before break

BMS STRING RECITAL - Thursday, April 7, 2016
ADJUSTED START TIMES:
    6:30     Part I: Fifth & Sixth Grade Performers

• Intermission -

    8:00    Part II: Seventh & Eighth Grade Performers

• Because of the widespread interest in the BMS String Recital, we have decided to move up the start time and split the recital into two halves.  Fifth and Sixth Grade participants will now perform at 6:30 p.m. and Seventh and Eighth Grade participants will begin at 8:00 p.m.  Students will only be required to stay for the half they perform on.  Students who choose to stay for both will earn Beethoven Bucks.
• All students performing solos on the evening recital SHOULD BRING THEIR SOLO MUSIC TO SCHOOL every day when we return from break.  Some students will be rehearsing their solos with the accompanist on Monday.  I will publish the rehearsal schedule the weekend before we return.

CLASS RECITALS - Wednesday April 6 - Friday April 8
Class Recitals will take place the week we return as well.  Unlike the evening recital ALL students will perform in the class recitals.  Students should be dressed up in their best clothes for all recitals.  A tie is definitely appropriate.  Parents and teachers are welcome to attend, but no classes.

8:50 a.m. 6th Grade String In-Class Recital - Last Names Melvin - Varady
